Ihr erhaltet alle Informationen und Anmeldungsformulare auch auf Englisch auf der Seite des Studentenwerks. Es ist dort auch möglich, sich online anzumelden, wofür man sich allerdings registrieren muss. Die englische Information ist leider unvollständig. Für eine komplette Liste der Studentenwohnheime müsst ihr in der Rubrik “Wohnen” unter “Wohnanlagen” suchen. Dort findet ihr die Wohnheime, Preise, Fotos und die Ansprechpartner.

Kirchliche Wohnheime

Es gibt auch eine Zahl von Wohnheimen die von der Kirche getragen werden. Das bedeutet allerdings nicht, dass man wie in einem Kloster lebt und jeden Tag beten muss. Es gibt eine Liste der kirchlichen Studentenwohnheime, die Seiten sind fast nur auf Deutsch. Sie sind wahrscheinlich die günstigste Möglichkeit, in Münster zu wohnen.

In der obigen Liste fehlt das evangelische Studentenwohnheim. Auch dort kann man sehr günstig wohnen.

Studentenwerk Münster

You will find all necessary information and application forms in English on the pages of the public  Studentenwerk. It is also possible to apply online, but a registration is required.  For a complete list of all public student dormitories you need to go to “housing” and check the section “types of accomodation”. On that page you will find the names of the different residencies, prices and their location that you need for your application.

Church-funded dormitories

In this list of all church-funded student dormitieres you can find the cheapest way of staying in Münster. It is even possible to stay here for about 100€ a month. That fact that these dormitories are held by churches does not necessarily mean that you have a curfew, nor that you have to pray all day. Unfortunately, most information on their webpages is in German. If you are considering moving into one of these dormitories but you encounter serious linguistic problems you can contact us.

On the webpage above you will not find the protestant  student dormitories. It is very cheap and in the center of Münster.
